Mad Maggie's Wool
We raise a small flock of Suffolk and Rambouillet sheep on our farm
in Highland County.
The sheep are sheared in the spring and the wool is spun into yarn
and made into socks.
We now sell both yarn and socks.

The yarn is fisherman weight spun with natural lanolin oils
making the knitted items soft and weather resistant.
We sell it in 2 ply (4 oz. skeins) about 200 yards
in a variety of colors.
Contact us for availability of colors and quantities.
Cost - $7.00 per skein. Six or more - $6.00 per skein
The socks come in four sizes: S (4-6), M (7-9),
L 10-12, and XL (13-15)
The wool from our sheep is combined with 30% mohair
resulting in a durable and soft warm comfortable sock
good for the coldest days of winter on the slopes or just padding
about the house.

We dye the socks on the farm and there is a myriad of colors.
If you are interested, please contact us
for current colors and availability of sizes in desired color.
Cost $12.00 a pair or two pair for $20.00.
